This summer, we invite you to join us for a cruise (or two or more!) aboard Escapades Memphrémagog’s luxury boat, the Grand Cru. You’ll experience a relaxing sail on magnificent Lake Memphremagog while being treated to some oh-so-tasty gourmet fare.
You can choose your meal at the same time as you book your trip, or up to seven days before departure. We redesign our menus every year, and the food on offer in 2022 is absolutely delicious!
There are four meal choices on our two types of cruise options―breakfast/lunch or dinner―as well as a choice of appetizer and dessert. We also cater to those who are on a restricted diet or who suffer from allergies (lactose free, gluten free, vegetarian, vegan etc.).
Fancy a surprise? Well then, let our Chef choose something for you!
To Eat
If you book the Offshore cruise, you can, for example, enjoy a plate of lightly smoked salmon or perhaps, opt for braised pork or marinated tofu.
To cite another example… on the Anchors Aweigh cruise, you can start the morning off in grand style with a yummy platter of smoked trout, duck parmentier (made with potatoes) or a super deluxe BLT sandwich (to name a few of the menu choices).
During the Bubbly Hour cruise, we don’t serve full meals. We do, however, offer a choice of snacks and appetizers ($)―perfect for nibbling as you sip your favourite drink!
Each year, we make a point of working with as many local food producers as possible. The Eastern Townships is known for its unique terroir and regional produce and we are proud to showcase the bounty of the land! Here are some of the food producers featured on our menus during the 2022 summer season:
- Canards du Lac Brome
- Ferme Piscicole des Bobines
- Ferme Purple Stripe
- Fromagerie des Cantons
- Fromagerie La Station
- Fromagerie Saint-Benoît-du-Lac
- Fundus Fungus champignons gourmets
- Gourmet Sauvage
- La Fabrique Essentielle
- Laiterie de Coaticook
- Porc Nagano
- Vinaigrerie Artisanale Mc Duff
- Brûlerie Virgin Hill Coffee
- As well as a number of vegetable farms…
By the way, all of our dishes are prepared in our main kitchen near the wharf, then transported carefully to the boat. The actual cooking and assembling of ingredients are done in our onboard galley, ensuring that passengers are served fresh, hot food!
To Drink
A tasty meal is one of the pleasures of life―even more so when accompanied by a good drink!
The Grand Cru offers an extensive bar menu ($). We have a wide choice of beers (from local microbreweries), a 200-bottle wine cellar (Quebec wines and private imports) and some truly original cocktails. Something, in other words, to please all palates!
Now that we’ve whetted your appetite, don’t delay in booking a trip aboard the Grand Cru. We look forward to welcoming you this summer as you enjoy an excellent meal in good company!
