Onboard Entertainment

the music

Did you know that every single cruise aboard Le Grand Cru on legendary Lake Memphremagog features live entertainment? No matter what cruise you opt for, you’ll enjoy a carefully selected choice of music from our talented performers.

We work with local artists to provide live entertainment. Their music sets the mood (festive, romantic, relaxing) and has been an integral part of our cruise experience for the past 16 years!

Comfortably seated, glass in hand, or while tucking into a gourmet meal, let yourself be seduced by the sound of catchy melodies, as you marvel at the spectacular scenery of the Eastern Townships.

the music

This year’s musical lineup is a combination of Escapades Memphrémagog’s regular performers and some new talents―guaranteed to get your toes tapping!

Mélane & Michel Desjardins

Partners in life and in music for a couple of decades, these artists from the Eastern Townships offer magical performances to their audiences. The duo’s signature sound marries warm, intimate vocals with virtuosic piano playing, to create heartfelt, moving melodies. They have been performing on Le Grand Cru for many years.

Édouard Lagacé

From live shows and contests to various TV competitions, there isn’t too much that Édouard has not accomplished in the world of music. A singer-songwriter with a distinctive voice, he follows his passion for performing at special events and in restaurant and bars, always accompanied by his faithful guitar. Édouard has also been creating a musical ambience aboard Le Grand Cru for a few years.

Le duo Mel & Marie

A contestant on La Voix (the French Canadian version of The Voice), on Marjo’s team in 2023, Marie-Ève Quirion has been singing professionally for 14 years. Melissa Sénécal has been a singer and musician since she was very young and for the past five years, thanks to her talent and determination, she has been able to make music her full-time profession. These two artists have formed a vocal duo whose harmonies are filled with tenderness and emotion.

Marily Dorion

A singer-songwriter from the Estrie region, Marily Dorion made a name for herself in 2022 with her distinctive artistic approach during her time with Star Académie, a musical TV competition. She is renowned for her ability to reinterpret familiar songs, from the past and present, by infusing them with her unique folk/pop/jazz styles.

Jean-Philippe Grenier

A proud resident of Magog, his adopted home, Jean-Philippe has been playing music around the area for more than 20 years. Performing songs from the 1960s up to the present day, he captivates audiences with his warm voice and infectious good humour. With Dominic Lussier, his fellow musician, he forms a duo who knows exactly how to engage an audience!

Véro Pelletier

Immerse yourself in Véro’s captivating world, which will take you on an emotional, intense journey through different eras and styles. Whether performing solo or accompanied by the haunting strings of guitarist Pium Nadeau, Véro delivers a performance that radiates authenticity.

Carter & The Boomers

Stéphane Carter, a singer and guitarist and Francis Gauthier, a saxophonist, make up the musical duo Carter & The Boomers. High energy, versatile musicians, they perform popular numbers from diverse musical genres―crooner jazz, rock ‘n’ roll, disco and music from the 1970s and 1980s―appealing to a wide range of audiences.
